Properties:

A component of data, audio or video recording, prosessing and/or reproducing equipment, that accommodates magnetic recording tape. It consists of items such as recording-reproducing heads, tape controls, bias generators, meters, reels, and the like, that facilitate the utilization of magnetic tape for rapid information recording and retrieval.
