The su232/pas is a clipon night vision thermal device. The cnvdt is a small lightweight, handheld or mounted thermal pocket scope. The su232/pas is used in a mounted configuration positioned on the milstd 1913 rail interface system in front of a day optical sight. The su232/pas also provided standalone capability by virtue of a built in electronic reticle. The su232/pas is equipped with a video output jack that enables the thermal image to be relayed to a remote location or fusion goggles.
