Pds-hip2 is a deployable satcom assemblage, easily transported and set upas part of an early enrty special ops forces teamsof) or other advance parties/deployable unit.Pds-hip2 will provide secure/ono-secure voice and data communications between fixed and deployed elements.The system design will consistof a 2.4 meter antenna baseband interface module and power generation system.Pds.Hip2 uses internet protoco (ip0 based communications, such as hup/spoke demand assigned multiple access (dama) protocols, which eleiminate serial switching and reduces the amount of equipment required for operations, using the (dmcs) antenna system.The integrated modem provides a bypass mode supporting single channel per carrier functionality. The antenna and the baseband equipmentwill be untegrated into four person lift transit cases.
