Special Features:

Name: filter, air, activated carbon, submarine, type 1 sanitary tank vent air filter, cylindrical. Filters are intended for sanitary tank vents and water closet service on submarines. Base plate: the base plate shall be not less than 0.035 inch in thickness. The central opening shall be covered with 8 mesh screen. The base plate shall be provided with means for securing the canister to the mounting. The filter bed shall have a volume of not less than 0.045 cubic feet. A ring gasket shall be provided to fit between the filter and the filter mounting with the material being synthetic rubber (mil-r-900). Material specification in accordance with qq-s-766. Canisters for this filter shall consist of two uniformly perforated concentric cylinders constructed of 0.025 inch thick stainless steel, class 316, condition a, 2b finish of qq-q-766.
